This Privacy Policy describes how NegoNow ("NegoNow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Profile Data: Optional profile details such as profession, experience level, and negotiation goals.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly store your credit card information.
2.2 Information Generated Through Use
- Practice Session Data: Chat transcripts, AI feedback, scores, and performance metrics from your negotiation practice sessions.
- Voice Recordings: If you use voice practice mode, audio recordings are processed for speech-to-text conversion and speech analytics (pacing, filler words, speaking time). Recordings are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you explicitly opt in.
- Learning Progress: Lesson completions, quiz results, journey progress, achievements, and daily streaks.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage Data: Screens viewed, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and error logs for debugging and security purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide the Service: Deliver AI-powered negotiation practice, generate personalized feedback and scoring, and track your learning progress.
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, fix bugs, and develop new content and scenarios.
- Personalization: Adapt lesson recommendations, scenario difficulty, and AI responses based on your skill level and progress.
- Communications: Send account-related notifications, security alerts, and (with your consent) product updates and educational content.

4. Third-Party Services
To provide the Service, we share limited data with the following categories of third-party providers:
- AI Service Provider (Large Language Model):Your practice conversation data (chat messages, not voice recordings) is sent to our third-party large language model (LLM) provider for processing and generating responses. This data is used solely to provide the practice experience and is governed by the provider's data processing agreement, which prohibits use of your data to train their models.
- Analytics Providers: Anonymized usage data may be shared with analytics services to help us understand how the Service is used.
- Payment Processors: Subscription payments are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play Store under their respective privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. Specifically:
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Practice Session Data: Retained while your account is active to provide progress tracking and session history. Deleted upon account deletion.
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
You may delete your account and associated data at any time through the account settings within the app. Alternatively, you may contact us (see Section 12) to request deletion.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze traffic and improve user experience. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
The mobile application uses local device storage (such as SharedPreferences) to save your settings and progress locally on your device. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless required for syncing your account.

- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
- Secure storage of account credentials using hashing and salting.
